Police looking for witnesses in Edmonton car crash
Police are looking for witnesses after an 86-year-old man died in an Edmonton car crash on Friday.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. in the area of 127 Street and 135 Avenue.
According to police, a black 2006 Jeep Cherokee being driven by a 21-year-old male collided in the intersection with a dark red 2002 Buick Century being driven by the 86-year-old man.
Police shut down all lanes of traffic in the area from approximately 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the collision.
Police say the results of the investigation will determine whether charges are laid.
