Alberta-wide warrant issued for Curtis Sear
Sear is considered possibly armed and dangerous
Red Deer City RCMP are hoping the public can assist them in locating 38-year old Curtis Troy Sear of Red Deer. He is wanted in connection for possession of stolen property and other warrants.
On August 8, the RCMP Emergency Response Team was sent in to a home in the Deer Park neighbourhood of Red Deer to arrest Curtis Sear. A search warrant was granted allowing police to enter the home where they found allegedly stolen property, but Sear was not found at the home.
Sear is wanted for possession of stolen property and other warrants. His current whereabouts are unknown, but he was last seen in Red Deer.
In October of 2011, Curtis Sear had been released from federal prison after serving a four-year term for forcible confinement, careless use of a firearm, uttering threats to cause death/harm, possession of property obtained by crime and mischief.
Red Deer City RCMP report that Sear has an extensive criminal history dating back to the early 90′s. He has 58 criminal convictions for armed robbery, assault with a weapon, possession of an unregistered and restricted weapon, forcible confinement, careless use of a firearm, uttering threats, break and enter, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, escaping lawful custody, fail to remain at the scene of an accident, possession of a weapon, possession of a scheduled substance, parole violation and theft.
Sear is described as a Caucasian man, 6’1″ tall and weighs 217 pounds. He has short red hair and hazel eyes. Sear may have shaved his head and has numerous tattoos on his neck and arms, including a Swastika and the letters “ACAB” across his right hand knuckles.
