Pratt’s clothes found near Glenmore Reservoir
Police believe a body pulled from the Glenmore Reservoir Friday afternoon is that of missing Rockyview Hospital patient 68-year old Wayne Pratt.
Pratt, who suffers from dementia, went missing from the Rockyview Hospital on Wednesday.
CBC Calgary is reporting that Pratt ran out through alarmed doors of the Rockyview’s medical unit. Staff were unable to catch him. Security and police were called to try to find Pratt.
Searchers found clothes belonging to Pratt on the Glenmore Reservoir shoreline Friday.
Police say the cause of death has yet to be determined, but foul play is not suspected.
The body was recovered by the Calgary Fire Department Aquatic Rescue Team at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday.
