Pilot Mark Chevallier killed while doing aerobatic training exercise in Pits S1S prop plane similar to photo
36-year old Mark Chevallier of Rocky Mountain House died in a plane crash near Rocky Mountain House on Thursday, July 12.
Corporal Bob Schultz of the Rocky Mountain House RCMP says the crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m., in a wooded area near the Rocky Mountain House airport.
Chevallier was the pilot and sole occupant of the Pitts S1S prop plane and he was working on an aerobic training exercise when the plane crashed.
The Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash and will work to determine the cause of the crash.
