BMO Team of the Week

Parents, coaches and community members have just four days left to nominate their favourite youth soccer team (age 7-12) for the BMO Team of the Week program.
A team is recognized each week for its team pride, spirit, community involvement, and passion for the game of soccer. Weekly winners receive a $500 team prize, a $500 donation to a charity of their choosing, Team of the Week tracksuits and a branch celebration within their community.
Fifteen weekly winners are named, who then vie for the 2012 BMO Team of the Week Championship.
The champion will be selected by the Canadian public and receive a $125,000 prize towards a field refurbishment, a trip to see a Canadian MLS or National Team home game, plus a $5,000 donation to their charity of choice.
“We’ve seen hundreds of quality nominations from across the country,” says BMO Financial Group Sponsorships Vice-President Sandy Bourne. “BMO Team of the Week gives communities the opportunity to highlight their local youth soccer teams, and with just days left, we want to encourage more nominations. There are still three weekly teams left to be selected.”
2012 BMO Team of the Week Finalists are as follows:
- Monteuil Sparta – Laval, QC
- KNSC Boys 2000 Lions – Kleinburg, ON
