Toddler reportedly collapsed
Templehill Place N.E., Calgary, Alta.
Police are investigating a toddler death in NE Calgary Friday afternoon. Calgary Police Service homicide and child abuse investigators were called to the residence.
Around 12:10 p.m. emergency services responded to a home in the 0-100 block of Templehill Place N.E. for reports of a two-year-old boy who had collapsed.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, according to police.
Homicide and the Child Abuse Unit have been called to investigate, which the CPS says is standard procedure for all serious incidents involving children,
Police say they are not releasing any more information at this time.
