Man suffering from head trauma
Man found unconscious on downtown Calgary street remains in hospital, suffering from head trauma
Calgary Police are hoping the public can assist them in determining what happened to a man who was found unconscious in downtown Calgary early on Thursday morning.
At about 12:45, Calgary Police officers were flagged down by some pedestrians who had found the man, collapsed at the southeast corner of 9 Ave and 5 St S.W.
EMS were also called to the scene to treat the man who was suffering from head trauma. He was transported to hospital, where he remains in serious, non life-threatening condition.
As of yet, investigators have not been able to speak to the victim and have not determined the cause of his injuries.
The victim is described as a Caucasian man, 5’10″ tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has blue eyes and short brown hair and was wearing a blue and white plaid western shirt and blue jeans.
