Two vehicle accident west of Leduc
Charges may be pending in the two vehicle accident that took the life of Christine Jarvis of Edmonton
51-year old Christine Marie Jarvis of Edmonton has been identified as the woman killed in two vehicle collision west of Leduc on the afternoon of Saturday, July 7.
The crash involving a car and a motorcycle occurred at the intersection of Highway 39 and Highway 60.
When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered both the motorcycle and the car were in the middle of the intersection. Paramedics attempted to save the life of Christine Jarvis, but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
Corporal Jerry Fox of the Leduc RCMP says police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the collision. At the time of the crash, visibility and road conditions were excellent.
A traffic analyst is investigating the collision and charges may be a possibility.
