Chadwick McCoy has history of violence towards women

Today the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP issued a warning concerning the release of a violent offender, Chadwick McCoy, after the man completed his sentence at the Regional Psychiatric Centre as of Monday, June 25.
Chadwick McCoy has served nine-and-a-half years in prison in Fort Saskatchewan on five counts of robbery, assault with a weapon, attempted robbery, two counts of sexual assault, uttering threats, overcoming resistance and indecent act.
Constable Christine Dmytriw of the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP says Chadwick McCoy has a history of violence towards women, including the elderly and also is a risk to offend against women over the age of 16-years. She adds “the RCMP believes that there is a risk of significant harm to the health or safety of the public, and in particular, females of all ages. Members of the public are advised that the intent of the process is to enable members of the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante action. Anyone believing that a crime has been or is about to be committed is encouraged to call police”.
Chadwick McCoy is described as a 39-year old Caucasian man, 5’8″ tall, weiging 165 pounds with brown eyes and blonde hair.
McCoy will be living in the Fort Saskatchewan area.
