Police return to area west of Beiseker to search for Ryan Lane

Anyone with information on Ryan Lane is asked to contact Calgary Police

Over the next two weeks, weather permitting, the Calgary Police Service will be searching the area due west of Beiseker for Ryan Lane, the 24-year old Calgary man who has been missing since February 7, 2012.

Ryan Lane was last seen during the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 7, near the 5200 block of Country Hills Blvd N.W.

Calgary Police believe Ryan Lane has met with foul play and the Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.  So far, investigators have identified suspects they believe were involved in Ryan Lane’s disappearance, but those suspects have been uncooperative with police.

During the next two weeks, Calgary Police  officers along with the K-9 Unit and HAWC helicopter will be searching for Ryan Lane on roadways, land and water masses south of Highway 72, between Range Road 263 and Range Road 265.

Ryan Lane is described as a Caucasian man, 5’9″ tall, weighing 150 pounds with a slim build.  He has brown eyes and brown hair and he has a tattoo on his right upper arm.
