Northwest Calgary stabbing sends man to hospital
A 25-year old man is in serious condition in hospital with a wound to the chest after police were called to a stabbing in NW Calgary Thursday afternoon.
Around 3:15 p.m. police responded to the 4900 block of 20 Ave. N.W. where they found the man suffering from a stab wound to his chest.
He was transported by EMS to hospital in serious condition. Following emergency surgery his condition is stable, police said.
District 2 General Investigative Unit detectives were called out to investigate.
Police say they don’t know if the attack was targetted. For further information call District 2 GIU 403-567-6200.
