First Touchdown of 2012 CFL Season from Saskatchewan Roughriders

| June 29, 2012 | 0 Comments

Darian Durant throws to Weston Dressler to score the first touchdown against the Hamilton Tigercats.

A nine play drive that featured a couple great runs by newcomer running back Kory Sheets. Sheets was on the bubble coming in to Rider training camp, but has firmly established his presence on the Saskatchewan Roughriders starting lineup.

The Durant-Dressler combination did not miss a step – picking up just like the last three years. Dressler picked up a few nice catches to move the ball down the field and Darian Durant was handling the ball with confidence.

And Durant went to his trusty receiver with the touchdown pass, a quick out to the right hashmarks and Dressler ran it in for the first Saskatchewan Roughrider touchdown this year, and the first CFL TD of 2012.
