Trevor Weber allegedly caught in speeding vehicle with cocaine and brass knuckles
Police allege Trevor Weber clocked at 174 Km/hr on Highway 1, east of Calgary
On Friday, April 20, the Calgary RCMP Traffic Services East stopped an eastbound vehicle on Highway 1 after the driver was caught allegedly traveling at 174 Km/hr.
Once police pulled over the vehicle, they discovered that the driver had outstanding warrants against him, stemming from an Olds break and enter. Police also saw brass knuckles inside the car. Brass knuckles are a prohibited weapon in Canada.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in police allegedly finding and seizing two pairs of taser brass knuckles, 64.5 grams of cocaine, five cell phones and drug related property.
37-year old Trevor Weber has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
