27-year old Marites Teresa Reyes Enrique of the Phillippines identified as homicide victim
Death of Marites Enrique considered a homicide
The severely injured woman found at an Okotoks home, who died on the way to hospital, has been identified as 27-year old Marites Enrique of the Phillipines.
Marites Enrique along with an adult man were found by RCMP at a home in Okotoks on April 17, just after 2 p.m. The man was flown to hospital by STARS, while the woman was transported by ground ambulance. She died on her way to hospital.
RCMP Major Crimes Unit, the RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Okotoks RCMP are investigating the homicide. Sergeant Ian Shardlow of the Okotoks RCMP says an autopsy has been completed but police are not releasing the cause of death.
