One person dead, one seriously injured
Fatal accident near Sundre claims life of woman and sends man to hospital
Sundre RCMP were called to a two-vehicle collision north of Sundre on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Highway 22, north of Sundre at just after 1:30 p.m. Each vehicle in the accident had one occupant.
The woman driving one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man in the other vehicle was transported to a Calgary hospital by STARS with serious injuries.
Sergeant Patricia Neely of the RCMP says the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
Highway 22 was closed for the afternoon to allow for the investigation into the crash.
