Vehicle struck hydro pole

A 36-year old man died in a single vehicle collision on the south side of Edmonton at about 9:30 p.m., on March 28.

Edmonton Police believe the man was speeding northbound on 101 St at 30 Ave when he lost control of his Honda Civic.  He then veered into the east-side ditch and became airborne and then struck a hydro pole.

The man, the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
