Money in support of Stop the Hurting, Start the Healing campaign

Money donated to Fort McMurray Family Crisis Centre
Over the next three years, NorthStar Ford Group of Fort McMurray will be presenting $75,000 to the Fort McMurray Family Crisis Society. The money will go to support of the Stop the Hurting, Start the Healing campaign.
Marty Giles, owner of NorthStar Ford Group, was honoured to be able to donate to Family Crisis Society. “It is a privilege to be able to give back to the community of Fort McMurray and help the Stop the Hurting, Start the Healing campaign. Hopefully, our donation, together with others, will make a positive impact in the community and help the Fort McMurray Family Crisis Society continue their inspiring program,” said Giles.
Family Crisis Society gives overall direction to a number of programs pertaining to issues of family violence and sexual assault. The Stop the Hurting, Start the Healing campaign created a goal to raise $50 million to fund the future expansion of the Fort McMurray Family Crisis Society. The current location of the Family Crisis Society is consistently at 100 percent capacity.
NorthStar Ford Group is located in Fort McMurray, Calgary, Cochrane and Fort McKay. Marty Giles says “The staff at NorthStar Ford Group is passionately committed to ensuring that the customer has a vehicle in his or her hands as many minutes a year as possible in order to live life to the fullest”.
