Two people dead in two car collision near Morinville
Mid afternoon accident on Highway 2
Police investigating at crash site
Two people are reported dead after a two vehicle collision on Highway 2 north of Morinville, Alberta. Morinville is 35 Km north of Edmonton.
Staff Sergeant Mac B. Richards says the accident occurred on Tuesday, January 24 at around 2:30 p.m. When police arrived they found the two victims of the crash. The collision is being investigated by the Morinville RCMP and RCMP Traffic Services.
Traffic on southbound Highway 2 is being diverted at Range Road 562 until further notice.
