Alberta Senior Service Awards

Nominations for the Minister's Senior Service Awards are now open

 

Nominations are now open for the 2012 Minister’s Seniors Service Awards which recognizes Albertans who volunteer their time to support seniors in the province.

“There are some incredible Albertans in our province who are constantly giving their time and energy to help seniors in our communities,” said Minister of Seniors George VanderBurg.

“I want us to take this opportunity to really give these individuals the recognition they so rightly deserve. Please consider nominating one of these unique and unselfish volunteers in your area. Their gift of time, energy and love enriches the lives of many seniors, and warrants our praise.”

Nominations are open until February 29, 2012.

Nominations are open until February 29, 2012. Organizations and individuals of any age can be nominated for a Minister’s Seniors Service Award, and winners will be recognized at a special ceremony during Seniors Week 2012, from June 4 to 10 next year.
