Two men carrying firearms robbed the Spirits Uptown Liquor Outlet in the Thickwood area of Fort McMurray at about 9 p.m., on Sunday, December 4.
Constable Christina Wilkins of the Wood Buffalo RCMP says two armed, masked men entered the liquor store and demanded money from the clerk. The two suspects were given less than $500 before fleeing the store through the back door of the shop.
Both suspects are described as being 5’6″ tall, and were dressed in dark clothing and wore gloves and face coverings. Fortunately, no one was injured in the robbery.
