Semi rollover closes highway 567 south of Irricana
Highway 567 is closed at the junction with Highway 9 after a semi truck hauling hay bales rolled over on the roadway on Monday afternoon.
The non-injury accident happened at about 2 p.m. Beiseker RCMP were called to the scene and have since closed down the highway and traffic is being diverted through the town if Irricana. The roadway is closed to allow crews to remove the truck and the debris from the accident.
Police do not believe the road will be closed for a long time, anticipating it will re-open by mid-afternoon.
The semi-driver did not suffer any injuries.
