Three men are facing numerous charges, including armed robbery and assault with a weapon after they allegedly tried to steal a flat of beer from two other men in Longview.
Turner Valley RCMP were called to the Highway 22 Liquor Store in Longview on the evening of August 26 after a complaint was made concerning a group of men fighting in front of the store. When police arrived on the scene, they found one of the suspects unconscious on the ground.
Police allege that the three men wielded a knife when tried to take a flat of beer away from two men who were leaving the liquor store. Fortunately, no one was injured with the knife during the ruckus.
Lance Grant Daniels, 23, Justin Travis Lefthand, 24 and Tyrell Edwin Twoyoungmen, 21 are facing numerous charges, including armed robbery and assault with a weapon.
The three will appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on September 2, 2011.
