Man faces weapons charges after gun shots fired in northeast
A 28 year old man is charged with various weapons charges and an assault charge after police were called out to a home in the northeast after a gun had been fired on early Saturday morning.
Mohammed Ahmed Yemiladem has been charged with weapon dangerous to the public, careless use of a weapon, reckless discharge of a firearm and assault. Police say the gun was fired during a domestic dispute inside the home.
Police were called out to the home in the 900 block of Taradale Dr N.E. at around 4 a.m. on Saturday. Police say the gun was fired in the heat of a domestic dispute inside the home. Fortunately, there were no one significant injuries suffered during the incident.
The Calgary Police Service is continuing to investigate the incident and additional firearms related charges are pending.
