Native reserves need equipment, food, water and cleaning supplies after Alberta flooding

The Siksika, Morley and Eden Valley reserves are in need of help after Alberta flooding.

The reserves have issued an urgent request for volunteers and drivers to help unload and sort donations.

They are calling for dollies, carts and a forklift.

Interested volunteers who can drive or have equipment are asked to call Mike at 403-837-4846.

The reserves also have an urgent need for food, water and cleaning supplies.

The Deerfoot Sportsplex is accepting donations until 4 p.m. on June 26, but donations will be shipped out until they are gone. Contact Deerfoot Sportplex at 403-734-5315.

Buffalo Run Golf Course is also accepting donations. Contact Yvonne Cita at 403-836-3166.

People can also make cash donations.
