RCMP looking for public assistance in suspicious death of Leslie Laboucane

The body of Leslie Laboucane was discovered in a hotel room in Fort McMurray on Mar. 24.

Wood Buffalo RCMP are hoping the public can assist them in their investigation into the suspicious death of 28-year old Leslie Laboucane of Lac La Biche.

The body of Laboucane was found inside one of the suites at  the Bridgeport Inn in Fort McMurray on March 24, just before noon.

An autopsy was performed and the death of Leslie Paul Laboucane was determined to be a homicide.  The cause of death was not released as the investigation into his death is ongoing.

Wood Buffalo Serious Crimes Unit along with K Division Major Crimes are investigating the murder.

Cst. Christina Wilkins says the investigation in to the death of Mr. Laboucane is progressing, but RCMP are still hoping the public will come forward with some information on the death of the man.
