Police arrest four people, charges pending against three after Strathmore grow op busted.

On Monday morning, RCMP officers busted a Strathmore grow op where police seized 840 plants weighing over 82 Kg.

Constable Clint Chisan of the Strathmore RCMP says the grow op was located in Wheatland County, southeast of Rockyford, on Highway 564.

The operation was inside a farm shop building that had a number of rooms.  The grow-op made use of a sophisticated electrical system.

Four people were arrested during the raid and charges are now pending against three men.

Strathmore RCMP, Calgary RCMP Emergency Response Team, Calgary RCMP Forensic Identification Section, Calgary RCMP Auto Theft Section and Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit Green Team all worked on the raid.

The investigation is continuing into the Strathmore grow op.
