20-year old man injured in targeted shooting
Edmonton Police are hoping the public can assist with the investigation into the downtown Edmonton shooting on Thursday night.
Edmonton Police are looking for the suspect in a shooting in downtown Edmonton late on Thursday night.
Just after 11:30 p.m., downtown EPS officers were called to the area of 106 Ave and 105 St after reports of multiple gunshots fired.
When police arrived, they found a 20-year old man in a parking lot at 107 Ave and 106 St. He was suffering from a non life-threatening wound to his leg. He was treated at the scene by EMS and transported to hospital.
Clair Seyler of the Edmonton Police says the shooting is not believed to be random.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens. He is 5’9″ tall and weighs 150 pounds and was wearing a grey hoodie, black jeans and black sneakers at the time of the shooting.
