Southeast groping suspect not linked to Erin Woods groper

Calgary Police are hoping the public can assist them with identifying a man who is wanted in connection with a groping incident in southeast Calgary.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 10 as a woman was walking in the area of 28 St and 9 Ave S.E.  She was approached by a man who was riding a bike and as the man rode past the woman, he grabbed her breast.

The man then rode off in an unknown direction.

The woman reported the incident to police on Wednesday, July 11.  At this time, police do not believe this groping incident is related to other groping incidents against women in nearby Erin Woods.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, in his mid 20′s.  He is between 5’6 and 5’8″ tall with a skinny build.  He was wearing dark clothing and was carrying a backpack.  The mountain bike the man was riding was older, black and white with yellow lettering.
