Wesley Bunker identified as victim of fatal Edmonton assault

Wesley Bunker identified as Edmonton's latest homicide victim
Edmonton Police have identified 47-year old Wesley Bunker as the man who died as a result of an alleged assault in an area north of downtown Edmonton.
On the morning of June 17, Wesley Bunker was found in front of a business at 106A Ave and 96 St. He was taken by EMS to hospital where he was treated, but on Tuesday, June 19, Wesley Bunker died in hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning.
29-year old Courtney Alex McDonald was originally charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident, but the charge has since been upgraded to manslaughter.
