28-year old Byron Crane facing second degree murder charge
Daniel Barata died as a result of a stab wound
The Edmonton Medical Examiner has determined that the death of 41-year old Daniel Edward Barata is a homicide. Barata died from a stab wound.
Police were called to the area of 129 Ave and 64 St at around 1 a.m., on Wednesday, May 23 after a weapons complaint was received. When police arrived at the scene, they found the body of Daniel Barata nearby.
Byron Crane, a 28-year old Edmonton man has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of Barata.
