Bullet strikes sofa in NE Calgary home Friday night

Police looking for witnesses to shooting

Residence was located on Del Ray Crescent NE, Calgary, Alta.

Residents of a N.E. Calgary home had a close call Friday night as several shots were fired at their house. One of the bullets broke the living room window and struck a sofa.

Police were called to the residence on Del Ray Crescent in Monterey Park around 11 p.m. The person or persons responsible were long gone, but investigators are interviewing local residents in hopes of finding someone who saw a suspicious vehicle or individuals in the neighbourhood.

Three people were in the house at the time the shots were fired.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
