Red Deer City RCMP are releasing additional details concerning the Talia Meguinis murder.  Meguinis was a 27-year old woman from the Calgary area whose body was found in Red Deer in February of this year.

To date, police believe that Talia Meguinis arrived in Red Deer on February 17 on a Greyhound bus.  She stayed at an apartment in the 5700 block of 56 Ave., in Red Deer and was last seen alive during the early morning hours of February 20, 2012.

On February 22, RCMP were called about the body of a woman found in a recycling depot in the Riverside Industrial area of Red Deer.  Police believe the dumpster was then emptied into the recycling truck and taken to the recycling depot where it was discovered.
