Head on collision near Hanna claims life of one person
One person is dead and a child has been air lifted to hospital after a two-vehicle collision east of Hanna on Friday night.
Sergeant Patricia Neely of the RCMP says the accident occurred 20 Kilometres east of Hanna on Highway 9.
Hanna RCMP and EMS were called to the scene of the crash involving a car and pickup truck just after 7 p.m. When they arrived, they found one person deceased and a seriously injured child at the crash scene. At this time, the status of the other people involved in the collision is unknown.
Highway 9, east of Hanna is closed until the investigation into the crash has been conducted.
