Man charged with manslaughter Edmonton homicide
Edmonton Police and EMS responded to an altercation complaint in the area of 95 Ave and 87 St.
The incident occurred early on Sunday, just before 5 a.m. When EMS arrived at the scene, they treated one man and transported him to hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1.
Brian Leonard Sawatzky, 26, has been charged with manslaughter and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
