Calgary man’s home searched, weapons allegedly found
Blood and Honour members and associate arrested in Edmonton and Calgary
Edmonton and Calgary Police have arrested two members and one associate of the white supremacist group, Blood and Honour, after a recent attack on two men in the Edmonton neighbourhood of Mill Woods.
What police are calling a racially-motivated assault occurred during the late night hours on March 24, outside of a liquor store in the southeast community. One of the victims was assaulted with a bottle of liquor. The attacks occurred soon after a White Pride rally held in Edmonton on the same day.
Subsequent to the attack, members of the Edmonton and Calgary Police Services executed search warrants at the home of Kyle McKee, a 26-year old man from Calgary. Once inside the home, police allegedly found numerous weapons, including shotguns, ammunition, knives and machetes.
Kyle McKee is now facing 15 weapons-related charges and two assault-related charges.
Two Edmonton area men are also facing charges. Bernard Miller, 20, has been charged with one count each of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. 44-year Philip Badrock of St. Albert has been charged with one count each of criminal harassment and assault causing bodily harm.
