Stabbed woman left in alleyway in 155 St and 107 Ave

Edmonton Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the stabbing of a 28-year old woman in the west end of Edmonton Thursday morning.

The stabbing occurred at around 6:30 a.m., on March 1 in the area of 155 St and 107 Ave.  When emergency services arrived, they discovered a 28-year old woman lying in an alley, suffering from stab wounds.  EMS treated the woman and she was taken to hospital in serious condition.

So far in the investigation, police have determined that the woman was riding in a car with the man, who she had recently met, when she was stabbed and then left in the alley.

Police are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect.  The man is described as a Black man, in his mid-to-late 20’s, clean shaven with short, dark hair and a slim build.  He was driving a red, two-door, 1990-2000 Honda Prelude.
