Extremely poor road conditions and visibility blamed for crash

greyhound bus in multiple vehicle accident

Accident occurred between Grande Prairie and Valleyview

Valleyview and Grande Prairie RCMP were called out in the early morning hours of March 22, to a multiple vehicle crash east of Grande Prairie.

The crash occurred at just after 4 a.m. near Crooked Creek, on Highway 43.  Constable Ellen Archibald of the Valleyview RCMP says at the time of the crash, road conditions were extremely poor and visibility was also poor due to heavy snowfall.

The crash included a Greyhound bus, multiple big trucks and a number of other vehicles.  At this time, there are no reports of injuries.
