Family treasures stolen from elderly woman’s home
Some items date back to 19th century Russia
In a residential break-in, robbers stole precious items from an elderly woman who lives in southwest Calgary on Monday, February 13.
The items are irreplaceable and, while they have significant monetary value, the sentimental value of the jewelry is priceless. The woman was given much of the jewelry by her mother and some of the items date back to 19th century Russia.
The thieves stole a watch, pendant and two brooches from the home on Woodvale Crescent S.W.
