Charges pending against Redcliff woman
On January 26, southeastern Alberta RCMP officers seized several firearms from two homes in Redcliff and Medicine Hat. One man has been charged and a woman was arrested and charges are pending.
Constable Blair Schneider of the Redcliff RCMP says two search warrants were executed at the homes by officers. Police discovered the weapons and arrested Brian Paul Gougeon, a 45-year old man from Redcliff, Alberta. Gougeon has been charged with 14 counts of firearm related offences. A 40-year old woman from Redcliff was also arrested, and charges are pending.
Gougeon is scheduled to appear in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on February 7, 2012 and the unnamed woman is to appear in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on April 11, 2012.
A 33 year old man is dead after falling 60 feet at a construction site in Redcliff Alberta on Thursday. Redcliff is about ten Kilometres west of Medicine Hat.
