Brooks RCMP have identified the man who was shot and killed in Brooks on Tuesday, November 1. Nana Prempeh, 26, of Brooks was killed by a gunshot early in the morning in the area of 9 St East and Sutherland Drive.
Doris Stapleton of the RCMP says police are interviewing numerous witnesses and are also going over security camera footage from the area as part of the investigation to find whoever is responsible for the shooting.
Just after 5 a.m., on Tuesday, police were called to the scene by witnesses who heard gunshots in the area. When they arrived, they found Nana Prempeh laying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital, but later died from his injuries.
