Three injured in single engine plane crash

Three people were injured when a single engine plane crashed about 30 Kms west of Claresholm at just after 4 on Monday afternoon.  

The single engine Piper Warrior plane crashed in the Porcupine Hills area.  The pilot and two passengers were taken to hospital, one of the passengers was air lifted by STARS Air Ambulance.

The plane is from Lethbridge.  The names of the pilot and passengers is being withheld at this time, but police expect to release names at a later date.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the RCMP and Transportation Safety Board.
