Stolen goods found at a home in rural Vulcan

A Vulcan County woman and a male youth have been charged after RCMP raided a rural property outside of Vulcan on July 29 and recovered a haul of prohibited weapons and stolen goods.

Vulcan RCMP along with RCMP Calgary Emergency Response Team, Calgary Police Service and the RCMP Auto Theft Section executed a search warrant on the rural property in Vulcan County.  Police discovered a stolen Red Haulmark enclosed trailer with about $30,000 worth of stolen tractor trailer and equipment tires at the location.  RCMP also seized two prohibited weapons from inside the home.

The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and failing to comply with a court order firearms prohibition.  The male youth was charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Vulcan RCMP are continuing to investigate this incident and are asking the public to contact the Vulcan RCMP at 403 485 2267 if they have any information to assist in the investigation.
