Public art in Calgary discussion

| August 29, 2011 | 0 Comments

The City of Calgary Public Art Program is looking for public input on how to make the most of public art in the city of Calgary.  The department is asking the question:  how can public art have the most impact on the lives of Calgarians?

The Public Art Program is also wondering how Calgarians can best be served by the Public Art Program, and how can they best connect citizens of Calgary to public art in the city.  Should there be more information concerning the city’s public art?  Should the art be interactive, something that the public can take part in and is art accessible to everyone in Calgary?   The big overall question is, what can the Public Art Program improve on?

The City of Calgary Public Art Program is also asking citizens to let them know about upcoming events and opportunities that lend themselves to public art projects and initiatives.
